About Arizona Refrigeration Service Inc.
Arizona Refrigeration Service Inc. (AZRS) is a family-owned, independently operated HVAC company headquartered at 820 W 1st St in Tempe, Arizona. Since February 1982, we have repaired, maintained, and installed air conditioning and heating systems for homes and light commercial properties across the Greater Phoenix Metro area, covering Maricopa and Pinal counties. We are licensed, bonded, and insured under Arizona ROC 056235 and ROC 075778, rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau, and an SRP Preferred Provider.
Built in the Valley Since 1982
When Arizona Refrigeration Service opened its doors in Tempe in 1982, the Valley was a very different place. Phoenix was still growing into the metro it is today, and air conditioning was already the one system no Arizona home could live without. Summers in the Sonoran Desert regularly push past 110 degrees, and a broken AC in July is not an inconvenience here. It is a safety issue.
That reality shaped how we have worked from the very first service call. We answer the phone, we show up, and we fix the problem properly so the family inside can get back to normal. More than four decades later, that simple approach has carried us through 44 Arizona cooling seasons and earned us customers who have stayed with us for generations. Many of the homeowners who call us today first heard our name from a parent or grandparent who trusted us years ago.
A lot has changed in the HVAC industry since 1982. Many local heating and cooling companies across the Valley have been bought up by private equity groups and national roll-ups. Arizona Refrigeration Service has not. We are still independently owned and operated, still based in Tempe, and still accountable to the same people we have always answered to: our customers and our neighbors.
